Anthony Minghella

I just finished editing the pictures from the CSULB University Art Museum's Wide Angle Event that happened last weekend. The Wide Angle series started in 2006, and in that year the keynote speaker was Anthony Minghella. As everyone knows, he directed Cold Mountain, The English Patient and The Talented Mr. Ripley. He died last year in March, which was a very sad time for us. When you add in the untimely deaths of Michael Crichton and Sydney Pollack, 2008 was not a good year for the great creative minds of our time. Here are some pictures that we took of him, to help remember Anthony.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo!!

We were videotaping an event in Anaheim that happened to have this group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, playing for the students! It was great to see this group live, we have a few of their CDs that we picked up when we were at Safari West a few years ago. Kelsey's mother loved playing it in the car. Here they are singing Hello My Baby.

70th Birthday goes with a Bang!

This thank you letter for a slideshow that premiered way across the country couldn't mean more to us, not only was it very thoughtful, it is from our favorite place, Cape Cod, Massachusetts!!!!!
